Question About Coinfacts - Same Coins/Different Slab Labels
Not sure how best to describe this in a title. But I have this half dollar: https://www.pcgs.com/coinfacts/coin/697689
The slab says "Half Dollar Set" on it. There's about 350 graded.
This coin exists here as well:
https://www.pcgs.com/coinfacts/coin/2019-s-50c-kennedy-enhanced-rev-pr/706676
This has two tabs/versions, and about 8000 graded. Also, all the auction results are going on this coin's page (which is the main reason for my gripe - the PCGS estimated price in my collection is $0).
Anyway, shouldn't these all be combined into one Coinfacts entry? How would I go about reporting this?
Same issue here:

Thanks.

I only looked at the first one and assume the second one will be similar.
On the second coinfacts page link listed in the OP go down to where is says 'show related coins and varieties (41)' and click. You will get the following. The Major Variety - 2019-S 50c Kennedy Enhanced Rev PR will be in green as it is the current coinfacts page. Then there are the Die Varieties for it listed in the other column. So the numbers on this coinfacts page should be for this Major Variety. Coin number 706676.
On the first coinfacts page link listed in the OP do the same and click the 'show related coins and varieties (41)'. This time the listing in green will be under the Die Varieties column (see screen shot below) and this is the current coinfacts page. This page has the information for this Die Variety only. Coin number 697689.
These are active links so you can click them and go to the other die varieties coinfacts pages. I don't know what the Gary Cooper Major Variety thing is (has same die varieties and numbers but different coin number and stuff) but I will assume someone familiar with these would.

Yeah, I think the Gary Cooper major variety is wrong. It's just a label variation on the slab.
But anyway, thanks. So I guess for my particular coin, I have to wait for a coin with this particular label that says "Half Dollar Set" to be auctioned, for it to show up with a price guide value.
I can not answer when pcgs might put a price in the guide. However, when I went to the auction prices realized and then selected the include eBay (it give a warning that they can't verify results), it gave a list and there are a few with the 697689 coin number listed. Here is the link.
I don't know these but it appears the 697690 is the same(?) but a first strike. It has some price numbers. Not sure if one can ratio from first strike to a non-FS from other examples but I would think thiswould be on the high side since FS.

You know, I guess I've never noticed the "Show Ebay" button. 697689 does have some ebay auction results, so that's helpful. It doesn't list a price guide still, but I can get a general idea. Thanks.
This is a real dilemma for developers to decide how to present this data. For most coins there aren't enough transactions of all of the varieties and labels to establish different price guide values for each different label or minor variety. This is where I wish they would propagate coin values for the base coin number down to all of the varieties when there isn't enough data, but I also understand that this is a lot of effort to setup and maintain. For instance, there are many coins where First Strike and FDOI can have a significant difference (ie 2008 Gold Buffalos) but many other cases where it does not. I can see why PCGS struggles with this.

I get why First Strike would be treated differently. But the presence of the phrase "Half Dollar Set" on the label vs. the absence of the phase constituting a different price guide seems silly to me. They all came from the same Apollo 11 set.
