Just curious about the following from CoinFacts;
Uncirculated: In all Uncirculated grades there are probably about 150 examples that exist, with most of them being in the MS64 and MS65 grades.
Between Anacs, NGC and PCGS, they have passed out 492 mint state grades over the years. But I imagine there's a database of some sort with photos of most of those 150 MS coins. But how much weight should I put into this bit of info when figuring up a dollar value to pay for one? Only 150 uncirculated examples of this variety exist for this variety? Or maybe this info is outdated and should be updated because the combined pops say 492 grades. Maybe that's not too unusual to see this many resubmissions and crossovers, especially for a major variety.

Oh, and go ahead and post your Dbl Monts.

    I have to believe there are more than 150 mint state examples.
    I dont have anything to back that up, but this is a common variety in circulated grades

    Not much, demand drives the price irrespective of how many exist.

    Check auction histories and current listings.... That would give the general values and interest in the variety. Cheers, RickO
