And I thought that the 2021 issues were a stretch. It’s really in quite good shape considering being over a millennium since release. Some people have all the luck. So I guess off to our hosts then to CAC and finally offered at a high end auction house.
After that I suspect you’ll probably retire and become a gentleman rancher. Leaving you time to amass some of the finest known examples of extremely rare coins. Congratulations buddy. 😁
Oh that’s not mine James, I just saw it posted on a metal detecting group with that headline and thought it was funny. Pretty serious crowd here though 🤔
Those coins in the background look interesting. I like old, well-worn coins with original toning. It reminds me of my grandparents who kept a few old coins like that in small, porcelain or ornate wooden keepsake boxes.

Glad you clarified. I thought you were going to refer to your grandparents as old, well-worn with original toning. I immediately ran to the full length mirror only to discover that I checked everything in those boxes but also several more that shocked me , including a details grade. 😂😂😂
Was relieved to finish your post and find out what you were really saying. 😁

@JohnThePainter ...
Funny, and thanks for the picture. You could also post this on the metal detecting forum here as well. Cheers, RickO

LOL! My grandparents were old gems with nice 'patinas,' and lovely hearts.
Coins, like music, can bring back fond memories for me.
