    You mean a star note? The star is on the obverse right at the end of the serial #.

    You have a star note. Issued as a replacement for a damaged note. Not particularly rare or valuable ( worth $1) but that’s the kind of thing that hopefully helps bring folks into the hobby. Keep looking.

    Usually unless a star note serial number starts with lots of zeros, it is pretty common and worth little.
