I pledge allegiance to The Slab..,
Do it in one picture. I’ll start.

At first this picture made me sad. But there was a sense of relief when I saw there were no Library of Coins albums, Dansco 7070s or Wayte Raymond boards.

Now that deserves a 'You Suck' award...just because.

The hot dogs you're about to roast over that flame should be delicious if served with a can of CAC gold baked beans![;) ;)](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/wink.png)
Times must be tough when it comes down to this to stay warm. Will be an easy way to light the hippy lettuce.
My Collection of Old Holders
Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
This is a heavily used mantra, but over the years, I have come to buy both the coin, and the slab. Why? Because the slab makes a difference in value (or perceived value). This is why most serious collectors who buy higher end coins, almost always buy graded coins in PCGS or NGC slabs. I consider ICG and Anacs to be raw, but genuine. Just my $0.02.

Running out of kindling. Fortunately the weather is improving, so these may survive another season.

I donated a dozen old Whitman folders to my local shop to place in the hands of new collectors. It made me feel good. I have burned family photos in the past, so I don't judge those who start fires.

I paid $1875 for a coin valued at $975, housed in an immaculate Rattler Holder. So, there is that. I guess I'm a patriot.

Haven't decided whether DCarr's post is in need of a soundtrack... 2001: A Space Odyssey or Planet of the Apes
Both films are from 1968
Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.
When I was 10 years old (in 1968) we went to a movie theater to see a double feature. "Planet of the Apes" was scheduled first, followed by "2001 A Space Odyssey". We sat there watching and it took almost half an hour before we realized the movie order had been switched.
