    I guess VF-35 although a generous XF40 wouldn't shock me. I like the look.

    Looks VF-35 to me.

Nice looking with clean, honest wear.

    VF30.
Perhaps I am way off, yet it doesn't merit XF, IMHO.

Hold On! there's arrows on the reverse? Let me see. That's pretty cool Ol' Sol learned what "fletching" is

When I see clean fields and crustiness around the devices and maybe(???) some horizontal wipe lines across the cheek, my guess will lean towards details.

Had to give it a shot and I don't mind being proven painfully wrong. Helps me learn:)

edit: It does looked cleaned - around 8:30 or 9 o'clock obverse.

Wow, I think that’s undergraded. If you focus only on the word LIBERTY, it may be F15, but more holistically it’s hard for me to give it less than VF, probably VF25.

1909 the dies were changed giving a much better strike "liberty" much improved LOL. I get confused on the grade too.
Probably crack it out, I've seen VF coins that are so much more worn

I suspect they effectively net graded the coin because of the light scratches on the reverse. The coin, by wear alone, is better than F15.

PS . I have 20/20 and 20/10 eyesight, but I think we coin guys/gals like to see what "We See" I'll say this and I mean it folks your averages are so close to what I believe is a real grade for that coin. Go ahead average them KO the EF and No grade
and what's the "mean" also? Besides the average.

    Compliments
