The number of the grade on this one is still pending even though it already shows PL designation on my orders page.

I'd be surprised at anything higher than 64. The cheek and neck look pretty rough.
When PL, these Kennedies show imperfections more radically.
I'd venture this one is MS67.

Plus my photo skills are not actually skilled. I was thinking/hoping 66.
If you listed the coin number associated with the PL designation, then that will show. It does not mean they have graded it PL yet. They will not post a PL in advance.
Plus the scrapes to the shield on the reverse
I think the process steps are just overlapping. It shows now that the grades are ready and when I click details I now have attributions like ddo, FS, and pl but no grades.
Well, that’s interesting. Keep us posted. I see you have two of those on there, so that will be cool if they are truly designated as such. What are your other coins? I’m interested now that you’ve mentioned ddo 😬
By the way, where did you get the PL 1998 half dollars? Mint sets, souvenir sets, some other method? I’ve always found the souvenir sets to have better quality coins than the mint sets.

Yes I agree that the souvenir sets have better quality coins most of the time which is where the 82 and 83 half dollars came from but the rest came from regular mint sets.
At this point I send in a little bit of everything whatever looks like it needs to be sent in. Next order will contain my first attempt at Ikes and Susan B Anthony’s that outta be interesting.
Anyways I’ll post results here after a GTG or 3.
