Dark side piece but I have to show it here

I received this coin yesterday. It is without doubt, along with my St. Gaudens $20 piece, the most BEAUTIFUL coin I've ever seen. It is struck on a 2oz silver piedfort planchet in Ultra-High relief. The photos don't give the high relief of the Viking Ship justice. These photos are the sellers stock photos but mine is exactly like it.

Man, that's an awesome Viking ship! I guess this would be "Last year of issue" for the Queen.

Thats pretty sweet, I can only imagine how those mirrors look in hand. I prefer dark side moderns, it seems like the attention to detail is far superior to the coins we make here.

That's a great portrait of the elderly Queen Elizabeth II and that Viking ship looks like it's ready to sail right off that coin. Great looking coin.

@MWallace... What a beautiful coin.... That ship looks perfect with those deep black fields. Cheers, RickO
It really is an outstanding work of art! I was thinking of getting one too.

nice, i like
The ship looks amazing on the mostly empty background and the portrait of QEII is also well done. That's a nice piece.

I can't wait for someone to carry this one as a pocket piece and end up with a VF35 PCGS coin!

And the responses from those who witness the pocket carry..."is that a two ounce Isle of Man piedfort in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?"...

very nice coin.
Possibly the coolest rim I’ve ever seen on a coin. What a great design!
