I bought it raw in the 1980s.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
not because its a million dollar rarity... or even close to the most expensive one i own, but because its the best looking one ive dug out of the ground
regardless of how many posts I have, I don't consider myself an "expert" at anything

@Eddi nice 1801 dime, nearly impossible to find in VF. I bought this one recently, PCGS VF30 only 1 in that PCGS grade for both varieties of 1801 dimes

My favourite Bust Dime dates: 1809 and 1811:
That is one of the most handsome 1828 JR-2's I have ever seen.

Cheers
