Just purchased this Franklin last week. I recently decided to work on completing my set. This is my first non bullion purchase in a few years!

I think NGC gave it a 63

Looks like an MS62... Dings on devices, obverse and reverse, fingerprint...field issues. Cheers, RickO
MS64. Photographs tend to exaggerate the severity of marks on Franklin halves.
I'm guessing 64 as well.
MS64
MS63

I'm in the 63 camp

Nice, whatever it is NGC overgrazed it as it typically does, PCGS will be tighter per the market.
Not sure about the grade but it is an RDV-002 or Type II Reverse from repurposed Proof Working Dies. This variety can be found in Mint Sets. Nice find.
I probably have to work on my photography skills, but thank you guys!

This illustrates how hard it is to grade from a photo -- especially Franklins! In spite of my MS64 guess, I'm not really surprised. Especially based on the second photo, it looks like a really clean coin.
Nice one!
@Zach98... Wow... I was a long way off... Not usually that wrong.... Oh well, even the best ball players strike out now and then...![:D :D](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/lol.png)
