Old anacs holder ms65 1884 CC Morgan. I know the older anacs holders were good crackout and upgrade candidates and was wondering if yall think this coin would be one of those?

Its a nice original looking coin, but imo it does not look to be of MS66 quality. Too many small abrasions

Too many hits on the cheek imo, but the services are a bit more forgiving on the CC dollars so maybe a 50/50 chance. That is likely why it is still in the old holder, worth more to hype the old holder than to risk a same grade (or lower) if cracked out.
My Collection of Old Holders
Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
The reverse looks nice but the obverse is too worn for the coin to grade higher in my opinion.
Strong likelihood it will cross to a pcgs 65 holder
No upgrade per abrasions IMO.
That toning color and pattern is not widely appreciated in the market also.
Not a candidate IMO.

My current Registry sets:
✓ Everyman Mint State Carson City Morgan Dollars (1878 – 1893)
✓ Everyman Mint State Lincoln Cents (1909 – 1958)
✓ Morgan Dollar GSA Hoard (1878 – 1891)
I do not believe that will upgrade... The obverse just will not make a 66.... Cheers, RickO
Will it cross? I think not.
