Hi guys,
I submitted 5 coins to our host in January. We'll, I finally have received my Grades/TrueViews.
The 1938d
Came back a ms 66. Very pleased to say the least!

    Very nice! No reason to sell, it is beautiful keep and enjoy!

    Very nice coin, one you should keep for your collection as it's not tying up a lot of capital.

    I think you're double enhancing the color when it's done using a truevue. I'd love to see a realvue picture when you have the coin in hand.

    When the news went out that 1938 was going to be the last year that Buffalo Nickels would be minted, they went all out.

    Not needing to save any reverse dies for future use, and not needing to worry about replacements, Denver proceeded to dial up the striking pressure.

    This resulted in a majority of well struck coins, and being the last year of Buffs, people saved gobs of them. Many nice coins were squirreled away as mementos.

    Well struck high grade specimens became the rule, not the exception for 1038.

    This resulted in 1938-D Buffalo Nickels becoming the perfect send off of a very popular issue.
