Does Anyone Have Knowledge of the Richard A. Long Auction, c. 1989?

Does anyone know of an auction of the collection of Richard A. Long, a specialist and author in the area of Mexican numismatics? I ran across an old scan of a set of Pillar Eight Reales that bore his name and 'AUCTION 1989', but have not been able to find any other details of the apparent sale, or a catalog.

Does anyone here have any other context?

It's probably an auction that he held, not an auction of his own collection. I have many of his catalogs. Pruebas probably has them all. Give us more details and maybe we can help.

Apologies, I posted this in the wrong forum by mistake. I was able to be put in contact with someone that had a complete collection of the Long catalogues after posting in the World Forum, and they were able to identify the catalogue in question as his Mail Bid Sale 55, from February 1989.

Congratulations, as I thought it would be a “Long”shot that you’d succeed, as these auctions took place so “Long” ago!
