Still waiting - Submissions in QA...

LazybonesLazybones Posts: 1,495 ✭✭✭✭✭

Been sitting in QA for over a month. How long does it usually take? Just curious because I never had to wait this long to get my grades.

It's the way it is. There is no "normal" time line in the grading sequence. Folks have had economy orders out pace their own regular submissions. You just have to wait.

QA used to be a day at most. I have recently had submissions regularly take 3-7 days. A month is crazy. Maybe some missing variety?

@Lazybones... Your story is just one of many similar stories here on the forum. Seems like the new normal is abnormal. Good luck... Cheers, RickO

My Economy has been home for a week while my Regular has been stuck in QA for over a month. The new normal is here

For many folks PCGS is the only game (TPG) in town. As such, they can freely cut customer service, ignore questions from clients, provide inferior images and essentially determine their own schedule based upon the bottom line all while not having to worry about customer loyalty. At least for now...

Why don't you just call customer service. On occasion, I have found that they had a missing number on my credit card, or my credit card had expired, or I had put a hold on my order, and released the hold, but it never got to the right people, or some other inane problem. I agree that a month in QA is too long, but best to be safe and just give them a call to check. And the phone waiting lines are long, but they do make call backs.

My last two submissions (rec 12/8) both sat in QA for about 3-4 days excluding weekend. One was received 3/8, one shipped today. If it's been a month, you should call. I called them and chose the callback option, they were helpful and resolved my issue

Just got off the phone with them. Nobody passed my order to accounting. Human error. They're taking care of it now.

My regular (Gold shield) submission has been in QA for a week now. Attributions are ready (and correct - I forgot to indicate what they were on my submission sheet), grades are ready, photos are ready. Now the anxious wait is ready. It may be time for a prediction post, but I have seller's photos for only one of the coins.

My first submission went from QA to Delivered and in my mailbox in a matter of hours. No indication that it had been mailed.

    Excitement is building.

I have an order in QA, this is the 6th week it's being held hostage. I am/was a platinum level player. The 8 free coin grading voucher will be applied to this, my last order. It's obviously been paid for over 7 months ago so there's no "credit card issue".
There are submissions on the shared orders page submitted in 2021. What the......is that? In total something like 3,500 orders need to have holder checks and mailing.
If I called, at this point I'm sure I'd be someones most unpleasant experience ever, so I wait.

I understand, my order has been in encapsulation for 5 weeks. The 8 free coin grading voucher will be applied to this, my last order. It's was paid for over 11 months ago so there's no credit card issue.
