Very cool die struck CCF. I think there's an 1842-O Bust Half CCF out there too.
"You can't get just one gun." "You can't get just one tattoo." "You can't get just one 1796 Draped Bust Large Cent."
I would jump in the bidding but don't feel like signing up for another auction site... very cool though indeed!
Looks contemporary to me

Nice contemporary. No holes, decent shape, and a neat conversation piece, especially considering the date is 6 years after the last reeded edge bust half.
Wish I had the book on these counterfeits, I have been on the casual lookout.
"But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you" Matthew 6:33. Young fellow suffering from Bust Half fever.

Cool bogus bust! This is actually the very last CCCBH in Davignon's book, and is listed as "very scarce".

Nice contemporary counterfeit .... Cheers, RickO
Sold for $55... maybe I shoulda signed up 🥴
Yeah, but the 1842-CC is the key.
This shows that I don't know my counterfeits. I thought that it was modern Chinese and the price was too high. I hope that a member here snagged it.
