Tent Pegs?

I find these quite often when I detect this one particular softball complex. Last Tuesday I found four and last fall I found two. In the past I cleaned them up and sold them for a 25 cents at our garage sale. Anyone know for sure what they are and do you ever find any

If you found them at a softball complex, they may have been used to hold down the bases.

I stay off the fields Don’t want to cause any friction like some people that detect there. They’ve all been found in grassy areas between fields I’m going to guess that some have been there for some time. But I do find some that are pointed upwards that could do a number on a tire or a bare foot

They do look like tent pegs, and the fact they were 'off the field' indicates that they could have been for concession stands. Cheers, RickO
