Buffalo Nickel toning? Off-metal?

Has anyone ever seen a buffalo nickel tone like this? I saw online that there is a pattern buffalo on a 89% copper planchet from 1920. That weighs 4.96 in AU, this one weighs 4.85g. I guess it's a billion to one shot, but it sure does look like copper.
Thanks

Oh well - Thank you.
When nickels have been buried a while, they look like this.
Common mud puddle coin.
Not natural toning.

That sure looks like a Buffalo nickel that has been in the ground for a few years... Cheers, RickO
