I got tired looking for information regarding the 1964d peace dollar I acquired so I am taking the easy way out and asking for information on this forum.
From what I can tell this fantasy piece is not from d. Carr therefore does anyone know who could have produced this coin?
Also, according to a sigma meter the coin is 99.9% silver.
Thank you in advance for your comments.

There have been so many 1964 Peace Dollar replicas made by so many different private mints, it’s hard to keep track of them. I rarely bother making that determination, as they are all nearly worthless, and thus not worth the time to research. Many have been struck in silver, and even more struck in base metals. The latter are usually worth cents on the dollar, while any struck in silver are typical worth only their precious metal’s intrinsic value.
I like it, my birthyear.
Worth the silver content and whatever a buyer would pay over that.
Nice conversation piece.
Yours looks like this one.

That one (pictured) was produced by the Royal Oak Mint.
It was re-sculpted by Heidi Wastweet. Since that was done by hand, the details deviate a little from the original Peace Dollars.
The one pictured is also a later die state. It is apparent that the obverse die was re-polished several times resulting in losses to the letters in the motto and date digits.
Dcarr: thank you for the information.
I know it is not worth a lot but to me it’s a cool piece.
Nice conversation piece.
I like Dan's die pair 9 better.

One day, in a thread like this, someone will sneak in a real one.... They are out there. Cheers, RickO
