Grade revealed 1883-CC Morgan, got graded after 15+ years in a Meghrig album. Before/After pic/GTG

I bought this coin over 15 years ago because I liked the clash marks. I ended up putting in a dollar page in the back of my Meghrig Jefferson Nickel Meghrig album. I stored the album in its box inside of Tupperware with desiccants so as to limit toning and environmental damage. It still got peripheral toning, but no terminal toning or spots. Here’s pictures of when I first got the coin back then (first picture) and the Trueview (second picture) that just appeared today. I submitted it at the last Long Beach show. Following the Trueview I posted pictures of the Meghrig album. I already replaced the empty hole with another Morgan. I thought this might be a good educational post on what coins look like after storage in this type of album. If you want, you can also guess the grade. Thanks for looking 🌞
PCGS gave it a 64, most people got it right or very close

Yeah I agree 64 seems like a good guess. I could see it a step lower but hard to see 65.
Is the TV accurate regarding the toning?

Yes, it’s spot on accurate. Brown peripheral toning and an almost invisible champagne colored skin on the whole coin. Most of the nickels have the same brown toning but some have other colors too.

I'm in for 64.
USAF (Ret.) 1985 - 2005. E-4B Aircraft Maintenance Crew Chief and Contracting Officer.
My current Registry sets:
✓ Everyman Mint State Carson City Morgan Dollars (1878 – 1893)
✓ Everyman Mint State Lincoln Cents (1909 – 1958)
✓ Morgan Dollar GSA Hoard (1878 – 1891)
The bag marks (obverse and reverse), and strike, are very, very similar to my MS64+ of that same coin. But there are a number of significant hits (on the rim and on the reverse) that, to me, reduce the visual appeal.

64 and cool!

It looks a bit better than my 64 so I’ll go out on a limb and say 65…
The CC Morgan’s seem to be graded generously in my experience.

Great experiment and interesting results. It will come as no surprise, I would prefer the 'pre-album' coin
... the tarnish seems to accentuate the cheek chatter. Cheers, RickO
