Had a local club show yesterday and picked up this 1897-o !
Barber quarter up for $46. It is for a very budget Barber Quarter side set. This coin goes for $250 in fine in PCGS coin facts, $175 Gray Sheet.

For the price you say that you got it for I would say that was a steal of a deal considering it looks like a F12.
Thank you Morgandollar1878. I agree with the F-12. The obverse is nicer in hand.
Frankly I think the coin is a solid F15, and close to VF, in which case you got a tremendous bargain.
Very solid Fine 12 if not 15.
That’s the perfect look for Barber coins in an album, they look great when the whole set looks like that

Nice pick-up!
Great coin and a fantastic buy at that price.
Nice coin / super pickup!
Nice Barber
That's cool

You got a great deal at that price.... Nice coin. Cheers, RickO
Very nice pick up, nice original color and no obvious issues. I think it can make the F12 grade as LIBERTY is mainly visible on obv and E PLUR..... is quite apparent on rev.
Thank you for all of the kind comments! I haven't felt this good at a show for a long time!

Great Barber! Easily F15, maybe VF20. Surfaces look good.
That coin has a great look to it with honest wear.
