My new macro setup and the evolution of the ZLincoln (warning: graphic content)

Just trying out my new rig. Needed something to shoot. Reached into my pocket and found this:
Both shot with the sunlight coming through the window, which lasts about 5 minutes in that spot.
Shot on my new Nikon D780 with my trusty old Nikon 200/4 Micro.

If you use a Mac - Try out the Software "acorn" by Flying meat. I love it - affordable, easy to use, great tutor system.

Ordinary zinc cent with environmental damage. No value beyond face. Heh heh.
Your photography is good. The photo this morning of the medal is beautiful.
I love that lens, unless I'm shooting slabs.

Wow... That is quite the set-up. No wonder we see such amazing coin pictures. My Android phone will never compare...

I have a tip: Hold a loop to your phone camera and you’ll get decent photos like this.
Now don’t get a super powerful one or Liberty will be looking a little bit stretched.

@Ownerofawheatiehorde... That is a great picture. Will have to try that... have a few loupes, so can do a few different ones. Thanks, Cheers, RickO
