Has it really been a year since I started throwing bricks through windows and got a few sensible changes?
It was a change in policy that many have been deservedly rewarded since then that would otherwise have been denied. Bottom line, it was good for PSA, good for the registry, and good for the collectors in general.
For the record, I never claimed those freebies. It just didn't seem right. Have to maintain my style!
"STYLE" Didn't you tell me just yesterday afternoon by phone that you still have your disco era leisure suit ready to go at a moments notice? You all don't think we talk about cards and hobby related topics, do you? ...jay
Boy,Do I feel like an idiot reading this post for the last hour and then spending the next 30 minutes coming up with a response before looking at the origional post date.I guess that getting up at 4:00 am and still being up at 11:30 pm makes for a bad attention span.
Vic
Please be kind to me. Even though I'm now a former postal employee, I'm still capable of snapping at any time.
I hate to admit I read the whole thread thinking to myself - gosh wasn't Zardoz in the middle of something like this before DeJavuey I need to go to bed "What an idiot"
<< <i>Man, that was a YEAR AGO? Time sure flies. Carpe Diem. >>
Yes it is hard to believe but for me the harder thing to believe is that my son, Eli, that we adopted last summer is a year old Tomorrow! Now THAT was One REALLY FAST Year!!
I apologize if this has already been suggested, but I can't read Harry Potter #5. IMHO, the '5 free gradings' has no effect on when a 600 card set gets registered. Those receiving the benefit, benefit very little from the benefit. And, much like the previous statement, the benefit rule is confusing. I think PSA should just drop the benefit effect 5 days from the announcement (5 days for obvious reason).
this thread is a year old . PSA fixed the problem already
Zardoz
Its been quite a year for you , Front and center on this issue , as well as WIWAG and half point grades. I must take this opportunity to thank you for bringing this issue to light a year ago and for benefiting all psa collectors because of it

Reading through this I thought of Carkim. I wonder how he's doing? Anyone know? Please reply Carkim if you read this.

He posts on the Vintage board all the time.
LOL
This was a year ago and the thread has been resuscitated for a trip down memory lane.
PSA made the changes and threw out the confusing oddball requirements shortly after my righteous indignation was posted.
See above post!!
Vic
