I still enjoy finding wheat cents in change... And I save them. Surprisingly, I get two or three a month. But I shop with cash a lot... Mainly so I get coins in change. Also, I check the 'take a cent, leave a cent' trays. ;) Cheers, RickO

  • @RickO1 By the time I finished with the rolls I had found a 50 and a 55. It wasn't the famous 55 though.

Always fun to find a wheatie - even more fun when it's a 29-D!

  • @Steven59 U are correct. I had 6rolls. I found the 29 fairly fast. But before I was done with all six rolls I had found a 55 and then later 50. I averaged one wheat every two rolls.lol

One time I found a 1932 D in a coin roll, strangely I didn’t have it in my book. :D Who would of thought!

Check your 55. There is a "poor mans" dd that has the last 5 doubled and the i in liberty. I think there are die cracks to look for as well. Im not an expert on these, maybe someone else can confirm.

I believe this is an example.
