FR02 or AG03...1838 O Liberty Seated Dime

Should this grade, which level would you believe it to be? FRO2 or what. I feel FR02 is what it might net.

There isn't enough detail left to be AG3, so I would agree with FR2, and yes, it would likely straight grade.

Id grade the front a 3, the back a 2. so 2.5?
Eggsackerly, that's what I was thinking.

Look like F02 to me.
Dave
obverse almost a 4, so going with 3
I am in the AG3 camp but what a gorgeous and pure coin. Wow, think of the history it saw.............
The reverse is always weak on 1838-O dimes, especially below Fine. The obverse is in higher relief and has higher rims, so the flatter reverse wore much faster than the obverse.
I would grade this one AG-3.
Funny enough, I don't have the 1838-O dime but I have the much scarcer 1838-O half dime. They are very nice coins, but plenty are available so I'm holding out to find one with originality and nice reverse rims at an affordable price.

Fair 02. Too much of the reverse lettering is gone to call it an AG 03.
Fair 02 plus?
2 seems to be fair.
Probably an 02, but I think it should be an 03.... Cheers, RickO
I'd lean towards ag3.
