Reverse die crack 1879o Morgan?

PppPpp Posts: 511 ✭✭✭✭

I just picked up this 1879o Morgan in a collection. It appears to me there are a few die cracks along the perimeter. I don’t see any vams listed for 1879o reverse die cracks.

My are questions are:
-does the reverse show die cracks or is it something else?
-if it is a mint error that is not listed then any suggestions on the coins value?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Looks like some die cracks.... Some collectors may offer a small premium for the coin... No idea how much. Good pictures. Cheers, RickO

Die cracks happen all the time in 19th century coins. Like @ricko said, it makes the coin more interesting and gives it character, so some collectors might offer a small premium over a "normal" coin but it's not a known VAM or anything. I personally like die cracks! :)
