amazing Stack’s Bowers Galleries Professional Numismatist Program for young adult numismatists

davewesendavewesen Posts: 6,155 ✭✭✭✭✭

I got an email today describing this program. I have occasionally bought and sold through them in the past but otherwise have no affiliation. It is open to young adult numismatists aged 18 to 25 (and the price is right for those selected). More details and application on the following web page ->

Well... I no longer qualify as 'young' - though my wife frequently tells me to 'grow up' :D:D I am still very active physically (some of my younger students think I lie about my age). Oh well, maybe they will start a program for 'ancient mariners'... ;) Cheers, RickO

What a great opportunity! I would really like to do it, but I’m too old, sadly.

I'm BACK!!! Used to be Billet7 on the old forum.

Exactly the kind of program that I wished existed when I first got into coins in my early 20's.

I saw this the other day in a email. Would be a great opportunity for any youth that are wanting a numismatic career. Nice of Stacks to do this for younger people, I hope they can fill up the class.

Another weekend bump for the students.

The Greysheet article says ->For exceptional students, paid positions and internships may be available immediately.

Even though the program is 'costly' to Stacks Bowers, it might be inexpensive if they get some longtime employees out of the program.

I am giving this thread a bump! Looks like the page was updated and now ready for the second annual PNP program this year, July 15th-19th, 2024. Original link works on first post.
