    It doesn't affect the coins. It affects people with microscopes. Thinking they see things that aren't there.

    Eye conditions effecting numismatics in order of commonality:

    1. Pareidolia
    2. Presbiopia
    3. Cataracts
    4. Glaucoma
    5. Diabetic Retinopathy
    6. Macular degeneration

    I am a newer collector (started April 2020), and I primarily focus on U.S. Half Cents and Type Coins. Early copper is my favorite.

    Yeah his vision is going. He totally missed the swooping Osprey with the trout (it looks like a large brookie) in it claws that is clearly defined in the area where the hair meets the ear.
