Wide AM LMC?

Hello, I have 1999 LMC ontop of eachother but the one on the bottom of the pic looks like a wide AM . But when I look at the FG intials they look the same distance from the memorial as eachother? Any input welcome thankyou Alun

Both of those appear to be close AM, best to show the whole reverse though.
Why not post both sides of both coins?
Both of these are close AM. What are the dates?
In 1999, some Reverse Hub Design #6 dies intended for proof issues were used on business issues instead of Reverse Hub Design #7 that was supposed to be used. The attached images show the 3 diagnostics for #6 versus #7. It is easy to tell them apart, but you need to take all 3 into consideration together.
This info comes from the book 'The Authoritative Reference On Lincoln Cents' by Wexler and Flynn.
Thanks everyone for your feed back especially hbarbee for all that in put! It's good to see that there are genuine pationate people on here
Both are close. I’m done contorting myself over those gaps.
Edit: I added the text
I will add one more vote for both being close AM... the tarnish/discoloration may be adding to the perception of 'wide'. Cheers, RickO
