Two Bust halves

I was at a coin shop today where we got out the big hardbound Overton book and could not figure which "O" number the damaged 1823 is. Also went on the Coinfacts section and could not figure it out. https://www.pcgs.com/coinfacts/coin/1839-50c-capped-bust/6179 Thanks for any help. I had a GR book on late date Bust halves but gave it to a grading service.

I am a little bit like an untrained monkey on these but vote for O-112 on the 1823.

I’d say you’re correct
BHNC #248 … 130 and counting.
O.112 is correct on the '23.
As for the '39, reeded edge halves had most every device hubbed. So the differences among die marriages are minuscule. Attributing is an effort without good images.

Thanks for the attribution. I was looking up the coin on Coinfacts and saw the Good 6 O113 brought nearly $20K. https://coins.ha.com/itm/bust-half-dollars/1823-50c-good-6-pcgs-secure-o-113-r7/a/1201-5246.s?hdnJumpToLot=1&x=0&y=0
Close but no cigar!
I sent the 1839 50c in to ICG, they called it VF20 and attribution GR#4.
