Very informative lot description by Legend.
FS-801. The doubling on this issue is most evident on the Arrows in the eagle's talon and in DOLLARS. The coin offered here is a lustrous Mint State example with greenish-gold accents. High end for the grade, as evidenced by the green CAC bean, this is a special coin housed in a special holder. Used from 1992 to 1996, the Regency Holder was oversized and meant to highlight rare and important coins. According to PCGS's Museum of Coin Holders website, approximately 700 coins were certified and encapsulated in these holders, about half of which were Israeli silver commemoratives from the Danny Kaye Estate. This Regency Holder comes with the original dust bag, which often got lost over the years. PCGS 31, NGC 12, CAC 22 (all). The PCGS Price Guide value for the variety is $4,250 but this holder is worth more than the coin. We sold a Regency holder in our December 2022 Regency Auction for $6,169. These are highly coveted holders that rarely appear in auction. Good luck. Cert. Number 4711667 PCGS # 9008
The current bid is currently a reasonable $3600 plus the 17.50 % buyers juice.
Interesting triple play between gold bullion/19th century mint state $20 liberty gold coin, CAC stickering and rare PCGS slab with even rarer PCGS velvet baglet.

Nice result! Do the bags alone ever go up for sale?

That Indians smile got bigger.
I have never seen a dust bag ever go for sale alone. I am not sure how it would be received by the collecting public.
Certainly can afford to buy the eggs now.
