My WLH collection is growing!

I am not ready to reveal all of my recent purchases but there is one I really like and felt compelled to show off.
I know everyone loves the rainbow colored toners and I do too. This coin has toning that is very unique and different than the rainbow toning. I think it's pretty cool. I love the way the colors land on the devices.
Nothing makes me happier than sharing my purchases with you guys.
It makes for great fun and helps keep the hobby enjoyable.

Nice one. The reverse side looks like maybe an end-roll toner (that side was exposed to the paper on the end of an original roll).
Wow! Talk about a coin with personality! That is a beauty! I don't recall ever seeing one toned quite like that. I love it!

That is beautiful! Would love to see it in person!
Rocking my "shiny-object-syndrome"!!!
Excellent point Dan!

It reminds me of camouflage which goes perfectly United States of America and the eagle. The way those colors fall on the wings is pretty amazing.
Above the eagle it looks like storm clouds to me. Fascinating coin.
I think it's pretty unique.
It must have been stored in an unusual location or with unusal paper to have created such a unique look.
BTW this is the coin I was curious about it being a DDR mainly because of the United States of America lettering but I think I am incorrect but still unsure.
Nice walker!
Keep it up. Your collection is coming along nicely.
Sometimes, it’s better to be LUCKY than good. 🍀 🍺👍

Just curious… your walker looks more toned in the PCGS photo but much less toned in your photo. Difference in the lighting?
@Oreville I am not setup to take images like PCGS.
You need to move a toned coin around to hit the sweet spot.
This coin is a joy to look at.
So many different different facets. It's like a diamond.
Move it one way you get one look move it the other and so on.
True view images are the best imaging you can get. I have no doubt they have the best equipment to take optimal images. I use my smart phone.
PCGS should offer an option for multiple images of a coin is some cases. This would be that type of coin.
I actually think that would be a good suggestion.
Beautiful coin Love the toning.
I love that unique toning and yes half the fun is showing off the goods.
I also enjoy the reset feeling you get once you send off your latest sub.
It’s like the hunt hits a reset button and starts anew. And if I’m not having much luck I can always find solace knowing my mystery grades are coming soon. Err…
Hmmmm, yeah they’ll be some good ones and some bad ones on that order, lol.
Very nice! Congratulations on the beautiful coin.
I am a newer collector (started April 2020), and I primarily focus on U.S. Half Cents and Type Coins. Early copper is my favorite.
Beautiful coin! Enjoy.
@Watchtower....I am a big fan of the WLH, however, not "...everyone loves the rainbow colored toners" .... And I am one who does not care for them. For me, the WLH in blast white is a numismatic masterpiece. Your coin certainly deserves the MS grade for detail... Cheers, RickO
Gorgeous coin!
Congratulations 🙂

@ricko
I love them blast white also. Stay tuned.
As nice as the photos are I bet that coin is one that truly comes to life with its full beauty when in hand. Nice addition to the collection, very nice indeed.
That’s a keeper
