    the obverse letters seem big

    I'm a little surprised to see all those hits a scratches.

    That's one of the uglier coins I've seen in mint sets and one of the ugliest for Denver.

    Certainly looks like a grease filled die at the motto.... not sure about the neck/jaw... some debris struck through it looks like.... Cheers, RickO
