    Not spot price but I know you can get futures:

    GC=F for Gold
    SI=F for gutter

    no direct symbol for live gold or silver spot. I use the corresponding etf (SLV for silver) for price direction/movement but not for actual spot price. I use the kitco app for live spot prices.

    I follow Kitco mostly for live spot prices... Hard gold is obviously a bit more... look to big sellers to gauge the prices for coins. Cheers, RickO
