First store card produced by Rob Shinnick / Lord Marcovan.

Laser etched wood. "Reeded" edge, 39mm.

This is example #1. Good for $5 in trade with the good Lord Marcovan.

Go check it out and "pay your respects" . . . . . . .

I wonder if I could still use it for his Fur Sail pieces in his store . . . . ?

Neat @lordmarcovan memorabilia... I have a couple of his 'elongated' coins, two cents and a Merc. Cheers, RickO

I still have mine,#8. The reverse is a little different. "Good For $5 In Trade" Is at the top in 3 lines. "#8 of 10" is at the bottom.
At one time I wrote down the names of the other 9 individuals who received one but can't find it right now.

Got thinking after making my post, there are varieties to this token.

I really hate to ask this but as an old-time member who went a very long time without posting, is there a reason the OP is saying "pay your respects"? :fearful:

There's a cost to everything these days. Respect is the price.

    I dunno, sounded good when I finger poked it in . . . .

I'm a little worse for wear, and showin' some of the mileage, but still kickin'. :)

Neat! I had zero recollection of who I gave these to, years ago. #1 just happened to reappear in my stuff recently, so I sent it to @zoidmeister, who's been sort of the archivist on this stuff.

These were made by forum member @laserart, I do remember that much. And I'm pretty sure he did it as a gift to me. I think he's no longer with us?

@ZoidMeister - thanks again for archiving all these on Token Catalog, for posterity’s sake.

It looks like you’ve now cataloged all of my personal exonumia except for the circa-2003-ish wooden nickels which were printed in green with the Buffalo design. I no longer own any of those myself.

There was also some paper scrip I used to send to eBay customers (a free shipping voucher), but that’s not really worth mentioning.

My next project will likely be an elongate on silver Washington quarters.

    Need a host coin?

I need to take a clearer photo of the laser etched piece. I will replace that one on Tokencatalog.com when I get it done.
