Two Dollar Rag

Stopped at the bank to run some coins through the counter yesterday. When I was getting paid I noticed a stack of two dollar bills in the teller’s tray with a really worn one on top. Bought all 7. Love that brown color and worn look

Banks can be a good place to look for stuff like that. You made out pretty well if you got them at face value! Good job! The center one is too far gone, but the other two are likely gradable if you chose to have them graded.

I strongly disagree. None of these are worth grading.
I'm surprised you can see the teller's tray.

I stand corrected sir! I just did a search on Ebay and a graded MS64 is selling for $60 - so you are absolutely right. It would be a waste of money. Still, an awesome score at the bank though!

Those old twos are some of my favorite design, I wish they would bring back the Monticello reverse. Good find at the bank!

The worn out two just stuck out like a sore thumb. I just asked if she could pay me with those two's. I think she was happy to get rid of them. I don't plan on getting them graded. I like to use the Bicentennial two's as part of a tip.

Eek. Agree. I'll sell you a pile of them for $2.50 each.
@pocketpiececommems ... Nice pictures of the bills.... But what is a "Bicentennial two"?? Cheers, RickO
@ricko here ya go!
@2windy2fish...Thank you.... Figured it was something like that, but did not see one in the OP pictures, so thought it may be something else. Cheers, RickO
