FUN Show Economy Submission Grades are In! Link Added

Strange to me, that I received those prior to the more expensive Regular Submission coins I also dropped off, but glad to have them sooner than expected, and very happy with the results!
The three non-early coppers in the submission came in on the high side of my estimates. The two large cents they were a little tough on, but straight graded, so that's good.
Since the bulk of the Regular Submission is early copper, I'm a bit anxious for those results.....

Good luck!
Just more evidence of how messed up the submission system is. Glad you're happy with your results.

Nice to hear! I submitted three coins for Regular regrade at Winter FUN. Your thread made me go look. They are out of grading and into encapsulation now! Woohoo. I might be able to see results soon.
Looking for Top Pop Mercury Dime Varieties & High Grade Mercury Dime Toners.
Nice!!
I thought for sure, with the already long wait times being posted, and the veritable flood of submissions they likely received at FUN, that I was looking at late March.
Congrats Greg. Great luck. Can't wait to see your grades and pics of the coins, if so inclined.

Did you share an image of that 1931-S on the boards recently? If so, I thought the coin looked spectacular!

Great, cannot wait to see them.

Nice grades and glad you got them faster than expected. Seems I have seen other posts lately about improved turn around times. Cheers, RickO
I don’t recall, Tom, perhaps I did.
I’ve owned it quite a few years. I ran a few errands at a mid-sized show for a wholesale dealer friend, and he flipped it to me for $100. It’s been in a box of odds and ends since then, though I know I offered it to a forum member once for $175, which is why I have a photo.
The reverse luster is just off the charts. I wished the obverse matched it!
Being a bit of a pessimist, I assumed the mark on the reverse and muted obverse luster would keep it at 63/4. But after studying a number in CoinFacts, I felt it had a legit shot at 65, so I added to the odds & ends that I was submitting.
I presume the 1801 is the S-218...

I didn’t attribute it myself and I don’t have a photo, but here’s the envelope from the EAC dealer/collector that I acquired it from:
Nice. Of course my S-218 reference was an attempt at DBLC humour...
(Edited to add: the S-218 is rare enough to be nearly unobtainable, especially in a straight grade. There have been five certified by PCGS in all grades.)

Just the lowly R1….if it was the S-218, I probably would’ve had to pay real money 💰 for it…
The S-223 is only of my favourites. Iconic "1/000" plus a very interesting die state progression. I have a bunch of them.

Are you conjuring Russ?
That was a favorite of his alright.

I think he started it.
