It looks like one that may have spent some time in the ground and corroded, then cleaned.
There are lots of things that can happen to a coin and without being there when it happened it's hard to say for sure.
It's all post mint damage no matter how it happened.
Nothing but PMD... and severely .... Probably dropped in the busy section of a supermarket parking lot.... Just a guess on the location.... Cheers, RickO

Environmental damage can do many things to coins that sometimes can only keep you guessing.

Nothing but severe damage.
Damage is damage, everyone can guess and speculate, just as you can, but there is no way to know with certainty how this coin became damaged.
