Amazing. We still don't come near RickO's count!

The bicentennial rolls seem to be the most common of the 20th century clad that I see in auctions. They have not appreciated very well.
Nice looking coin!
It's almost the only clad quarter from before 1999 I see in BU rolls; real BU rolls, not mint set coins.
I've seen a steady stream of AU and Unc coins in circulation since 1976 but there are a lot more where those came from.
Looks like someone kissed the drummer on the cheek.
USAF (Ret) 1974 - 1994 - The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings; the inherent virtue of socialism is the equal sharing of miseries. Remembering RickO, a brother in arms.
I really like bicentennial quarters, they were the first different and interesting coin i saw in circulation as a child. It was about the mid-80s when I started paying attention, and these were an occasional sight. I've always had a soft spot for them, even though I only have a few of them, mostly mint set coins with toning i found appealing.
Along with the many millions of these set aside there is also more interest in them than most clad quarters. Varieties and Gems are worth more even though the date comes pretty nice. The nicest examples tend to be found in the 1976 mint set.
@JoeyCoins ... That is a really nice specimen of the Bi-Centennial quarter.... I have a pile of these somewhere that I put together years ago.... Nothing special, should spend them. Cheers, RickO
Not with almost 2 BILLION circulation strikes between the Philly and Denver mint - not to mention all the rolls that were "hoarded" because of the so called "Investment" probability.
