PCGS Images Server Error

Im trying to download the alternate TrueView images of my coin, where you can choose a different background or resolution. Its been down since yesterday, just want to make sure PCGS is made aware.

Yea it’s pretty cool, you can download different sizes, just obverse or just reverse, transparent or white background etc

Here’s max size “reverse only” on white for my 1853 $20 in 58

I notice this late last week. Early this week I sent an email to info pcgs com.

I got a reply saying that it worked for them and asked if I could try again. I tried again and got the same error. I then tried on my phone using WiFi and got the same error. I then tried on my phone using phone date or mobile date and it worked with no problem. I reported this back to pcgs in the email. I have not heard anything back and sent another email last night.

This is my error for 1-30-23 and the same as the one I get from your link.

Still does not work for me. Even with the missing digit it should connect to pcgs and give an error of incorrect number. I just get a host error.

I typed the cert number in wrong, it’s now been corrected in my original post however the link Is for alternate images, it’s not just cert information that I’m looking for.

There is no trueview for cert 4550536

It looks like a solution has been found, @LanceNewmanOCC messaged me and helped me to pull the link by adding an "s" to the http in the address bar. It turns out that the pcgs published link via google search is unsecured, and doesn't have the "S" in the address bar like the other pcgs links. You should be able to just change the cert number now to download alternate images

Thanks. That seems to work for me. I have had the same bookmark without the 's' for years. I just change the cert number when it comes up to get others I am looking for. Then it quit working a week plus ago. Adding the 's' now and the bookmark is working again. I did notice that it takes a little extra time (at least right now) for it to completely load as it has the x at the end for a minute plus. Then finally goes to the circle reload symbol. This is true even if I just reload the existing true view page. Could be an internet thing at this time but so far it is consistent and not having any other issues.
