@jesbroken... Very nice find Jim... I am still looking for my first W quarter in change... As I have mentioned before, I found one in a Coinstar reject slot.... However, I shop with cash a lot, and still not one W quarter in change. Cheers, RickO

Like mentioned before, I think that most of the larger cities got them for some reason. I've never seen coinage issued so sporadically. Even Denver and San Francisco issues make it here somewhat more quickly than they used to, but not W's. Good luck to all hunting.

Oops you are wrong, Beckley, WV has 3. My sister lives in Kingsport, TN and they have one. This past year it was torn down and completely rebuilt for 6 months. She almost went nuts. They did one of ours the same way, but we had others. Unfortunately, it's worse, than you would think, to have 3 and cannot eat there due to the salt.

Pretty much. So crazy to get so excited about something of totally non numismatic importance. I can associate it with finding a 1909 Lincoln in the 50's in similar condition. No S's but an 09 nonetheless. Crazy days in coin collecting.
