1954 nickel printed on wrong planchet error

printed on either a dime planchet, foreign planchet or half a nickel planchet. It weighs only 2.4g and is extremely thin. Any thoughts on rarity or value

Welcome to the forum. That’s a tough question for me. The pros will not consider the post as serious without good photos of what you hold—do not post a pic of a coin that is like it.
Read the threads some more, see how not to post.
I wish you luck in the hobby.

Being able to provide decent images means most everything for this question. Good luck!

Photos needed. It may just be a coin that was dipped in acid.

Could be a dime ... value depends on date, condition and if silver or clad .... could be $200 -$400 if not screwed with after leaving mint (damaged or cleaned)

@Letstalk ... Welcome aboard. We will need pictures to help you further. It could be a damaged coin or it could be genuine... Once we see pictures we can offer further assistance. Cheers, RickO
