Toned, Birthyear, 1956 Proof coins (only missing the nickel)

SanctionIISanctionII Posts: 12,273 ✭✭✭✭✭

1956 is the year I arrived on planet earth. So 1956 proof coins are favorties of mine.

Which of these toned coins would you choose to place into a 1956 toned proof set?

I just need to find a suitable toned nickel to complete the toned set.

I don't think you could go wrong with any of them. They're all very nice.

I'm gonna use the last 2 cert numbers for pick.
Half- 29 (looks have more even color)
    Qtr- 21 (love the Rev)
Dime- 05 (nice color- Obv on other too dark)
Cent- 13 ( more even color)
But they all do look good!

Make it a double proof set with two of each example. :D

Can I choose all? If I had to pick one to drop it would be the second dime. Very nice looking coins!

@SanctionII.... I am not a tarnish lover, and truly, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.... So you will be the best judge of what to include in YOUR set. Good luck.. Cheers, RickO

Not quite the same color and clearness as yours, but a beautiful nickel regardless. Not mine.

Beautiful original proof set! I was born the same year!!!

    My preference:
    1st half
    2nd quarter
    2nd dime
    1st cent

Loving toning on all of these. Gorgeous!
    Dave

Always looking for original, better date VF20-VF35 Barber quarters and halves, and a quality beer.
