I am good with ANACS roll top holders along with 5 & 6 digit soap boxes from a bygone era.
I am a-ok with goodies in PCGS & NGC slabs too.
And as crazy as it may be, I am fine with sourcing RAW coins too. Most coins I buy are RAW, no slabby necessary.

I don't slab any coins. Mail away and pray. Not interested. Not necessary for me.

Prospective coins housed in a slab does not keep me from buying coinage that's available. I am not anti slab.
I do not hold it against a coin that somebody stuck in a slab. It's just something else to consider when making a purchase. Another point of view.

    I "Buy the coin"

I Love me some RAW coins.

I like the services that ANACS provides...I just don't like their holder.

ANACS is great for lower valued coins because their pricing is very competitive. I would pass on most higher priced coins because they sell for less money compared to PCGS or NGC.

I think they have the best holders, in terms of geometry.

So you'd rather pay MORE for the same coin ? ;)
(I realize that is not what you meant, but that is how I interpreted it at first).

Many people do just that Daniel. Lots of Kool-aid drinkers out there. Buy the coin not the holder. I've gotten many undergraded coins in ANACS holders on the cheap, so Kool-aid drinkers keep on drinking as long as I'm buying.

Agreed, and shockingly, I don't even mind the yellow.

Nothin' wrong with ANACS. I will put my raw under $100 coins in Coin World Premier holder. These holders are high quality and same size as PCGS holder. Who wants to pay a TPG, any TPG, $50 to holder a $50 or less coin? Not me.
