If I had to guess, I'd say he is going to make the most of it in his second go-around. What do you think, @doubledragon ?
Well, to be honest, I was kind of hoping for Sean Payton. I don't know how I feel about this.
Frank Reich.
Ironically, Frank Reich was the first quarterback in Panthers history, in 1995, our first year in the league, he started the first three games until Kerry Collins took the reigns. We got a good defense, and he's an offensive minded guy and we need an offense, so we'll see how this goes.
On a positive note, by not getting Sean Payton, we'll get to keep our first round pick in the draft, I'm hoping a good quarterback will be available.
Do the right thing Frank, get us a quarterback.
What did you just say Frank? Are you giving me lip?
with every frank comes a festivus airing of grievances
frank reich's first meeting with the panthers: "i got a lot of problems with you people!!!"
then a feats of strength session breaks out
"let's rumble!!"

Hey its better than Jeff I know how to blow a lead Saturday
Frank Reich is a very good hire. And I would use the draft to further rebuild the roster rather than draft a QB.
In the modern NFL, you have to add the quarterback last. The rest of the team, especially the offensive line, needs to be improved significantly before you add the weapons and a quarterback. That is the modern method for success. The moment teams have to pay their quarterback, the organization loses all flexibility and the team begins to decline. There’s no way the Eagles can add Suh and Joseph in-season if the quarterback is gobbling up 50 million.
Plus, I believe Sam Darnold can be serviceable and I’d like to see him coached up first before drafting another QB as he’s still fairly young. In the six or seven games he played this past season, he actually played really well in each of them to close out the season for the Panthers.
