I occasionaly hunt for Vams. Saw this on Ebay and it sure looked like an 1880 Phily Vam 7, 8/7 crossbar. There is somthing there but it is not the crossbar.

Yeah, buying based on photography is a wild hunt game. Or Russian roulette. Never know when you are going to hit the jackpot and it may never happen.
