Any idea where that (alleged) $11,000 auction record referenced in the pictures came from?

Wow... I still have a couple of these in the original container... Did not know I was 'sitting on a gold mine'.... Cheers, RickO
It says "EBAY AUCTION RECORD MS64 PRICED $11,000.00". It doesn't even matter whether it's true, as "PRICED" isn't the same as sold and means nothing.

It's fine. I can massage an offer.

The $18.24 shipping charge seems reasonable.
Ummmm, yeah! The new normal?
Gotta love a wordsmith!

It's eBay. Stupid asking prices have become very, very common.
He's massaging something........
pretty sure it was a double coin slab with a MS67 cheerio's dollar and best offer accepted so ???

See RickO, the one you gave me I can sell for $10,500!
Thank you, my friend!

well done. i do see that on the page now.
ALSO, it looks like the same item sold a few times on ebay over a couple/few years.
if someone hasn't ran down the actual listings by the time i fix and eat my lunch, i'll dig into it a bit more. fwiw
(this could be an opportunity to blast there being 5000 versions of items and how easy it is to confuse one item from another and/or an opportunity for scammers/desperate people to take advantage etc) <-- semi rant

I'm thinking it was pulled from a much darker place.

so THIS page (https://www.pcgs.com/auctionprices/item/2000-1c-cheerios-cent-rd/515762/-2567938931567340460) states it is a duel holder BUT when i click the pcgs coin number (https://www.pcgs.com/coinfacts/coin/2000-1c-cheerios-cent-rd/515762/64) from that page i get this and when i click the cert number (https://www.pcgs.com/cert/41530917) i get this. none of which specify anything about a dual holder. that makes looking up those other sales results almost moot since they seem connected to the main $11k sale. it also shows a pop of 77. so, in my estimation, this whole situation is basically fubar which is pretty much the consensus prior to my posts.

here you go, picture
glad you posted that. i did not recall dual holders have different cert #s and the cert page has no indication of it being a dual holder. not sure what the best way to do dual holders is but that seems kinda odd.

just because i haven't used it in such a long time, i tried to find the $11k listing, to no avail. perhaps someone more oriented to tweaking the filters can find the listing

I used it with 'Cheerios PCGS' with a filter of $5000 to $20000
That certainly makes sense. THank you all.
His is the better deal, he's only asking $10,500.
PCGS lists the best sold price for an MS67RD being $192, so as previously said, asking can be anything. Now if it's a wide AM, it might go up 10%. lol

looks like a nice one to boot and the other one appears to be a nice struck through.
