@oih82w8 the patina on your Pan-Pac is gorgeous, wow.
This Long Island is one of my favorites—this issue is often found with unattractive brown toning, so a lustrous example with color stands out. CAC-approved in a 65 holder.
Favorite type? There are a half dozen I like, but the best reverse in US coinage in terms of symbolism and execution, IMO, is the Oregon. I even get emotional over how great a reverse design it has. The obverse isn't bad, either.
Favorite coin of mine with a Trueview? It's gotta be this one.
The reverse design isn't so great; but I like the proud Indian on the obverse. The 1937-S is the scarcest Arkansas in MS66 and one of the most undervalued commemoratives in the 144 coin set.
Can't quite profess love for the classic commemmoratives but the following 1926 Sesquicentennial stands out for being the only American coin to depict a sitting president Calvin Coolidge in his lifetime.

That is an INCREDIBLE coin!

Happy MLK day my friends!
I was born and raised in Delaware. When I was kid, there were very numismatic items that you could acquire about the state. The one main stream piece was the Delaware commemorative half dollar. I now have three of them, but this is the best. I overpaid for it, but I don't care. It is a PCGS MS-65 with original and attractive tab toning from the holder in which some or all of these coins were sold.
Original holder.
This small medal, which is listed as So-Called Dollar, was sold at the same celebration (300th anniversary of the Swedes landing in Delaware). I bought it for 50 cents on my 5th grade field trip, not knowing what it was. It is interesting to note that these pieces were still available 21 years after the celebration at the issue price.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
Not the best example but total value for money with the following Monroe in the raw for $25 from eBay (graded VG 10 by ANACS for an additional $10) since weightage is 6.00 on the PCGS registry behind Hawaiian and Missouri.

The Oregon has always been my favorite design.

OK I have to sneak in 1 more, this is only a 58, but I like the colors around the outside, especially on the Native's headdress:

Love the ones that have some TLC. This one looks like a ghost ship!
Here are my plasters for the originally selected design:

Whoa!! That’s incredible

Barber has always gotten a bad rap for no good reason. He was capable of nice designs when given a free hand.
Looks like Oregon is coming in as a fan favorite.

A good alternative to the over-dipped examples usually seen.
