Restoration at PCGS

In the beginning of 2022, I acquired an Egyptian 10 qirsh, heavily toned in a natural way, probably having spent a lot of years in a coin cabinet or some sort of boxed or other protected environment. The thing with toning is that sometimes, the end result might have an awkward design for a variety of reasons.
This coin was reasonably priced and suitable to “test” PCGS’ restoration service. The luster that the toning was hiding was nothing less than extraordinary.

Interesting coins before and after. They all seemed to have PVC, but besides that, their detail showed up nicely, still with an originality on their surfaces, without making them look like dipped white coins.
I think that they showed more skill here, whereas in my case, their only choice was to remove the ugly toning completely and show the underlying luster that was virtually invisible in the before image.
How were the grades after?
