Pick up from a local show today. Undergraded Buffalo? Agree?

I picked up this 1913 S T2 Buffalo from a show today. It was graded XF on the holder and priced a bit below XF grade. My thoughts are it’s a bit better. What are your thoughts?

I'm not 100% confident it's authentic.
Here's my NGC-graded AU58; you compare (to my eye, it looks like a solid XF, but not an AU--especially the obverse):
The obverse looks off to me, especially around the date. The obverse detail is a little weak but I still lean towards genuine and I agree it would grade AU53-55.
Looks like a 53-55 to me. Nice score, looks genuine to me as well, but not sure how good the fakes are out there.
It's close... but I'd certainly would have been interested in it as higher XF, assuming some nice luster yet.
Looks XF to me

How much luster is left? The mintmark looks a little big. Could that make it glued on or embossed from edge?
And yes... I do have some... wondering about the coin. Would have looked very closely to determine if fake or not. I 'think' it is genuine... but do have some hesitation when looking at provided photos.
Heres a PCGS XF 40

Looks AU 50….but is it an added or embossed mint mark, or die struck counterfeit, that I don’t know. But it may be perfectly legit.
That coin looks 'off' to me....The mint mark, the hip on the buffalo and the lower braid on the Indian.... just looks wrong... Cheers, RickO
It looks a lot better than my PCGS-40.

Quick phone pics for comparison.
Edited to add after reading mfelds post:
My coin looks better in hand, but maybe that’s just wishful thinking.

XF
XF40 at best if legit.

Must be something in the air, I just bought a 13-S T2

Nice find. My guess on the grade is 55.
I believe authentic and AU50
What a tremendous clash your coin shows, not only does it look better than VF30 to me the coolness factor is at the top of the chart.
To stay on topic, I would grade the OP's coin in the 45/50 range depending on whether any luster remained, the photo makes it look very flat.

Strong XF yet just enough wear to keep it out of AU.

Looks as though it’s graded properly to my eyes.
Here's my one time AU55 1913 S T2 Buff for comparison.

Thanks all for the input. This was purchased from a very reputable dealer who will stand behind what he sells. The pictures do not give a true representation of how the coin truly looks. Unfortunately I am struck to using my iPad for pictures and they are not the best but there is some luster left on the coin.
