Take A Look At These Seated Dollars

JBNJBN Posts: 1,872 ✭✭✭✭✭

A new set appeared in the Seated Dollar category. 'New' coins don't often appear for this series.
This is not my collection (tho I would SAF like the 72-S). I was awestruck. Thought I would share. @Crusty
Set is 'American Girls':

Wow. Thanks for the link. I did enjoy reading the owner's description as well.

Fantastic set of coins. I love the fact that he gave a shout out to the previous owners of the coins in his introduction.

The 1859-S and 1872-S are tough coins to find in such a beautiful state of preservation. I watched them both come up in a recent auction.

Congratulations to the new owner. All of these coins are in good hands.

Would love to see images of the 1848!

The set is amazing! And the owner is a great guy and friend. He obviously enjoys the finest SLDs he can possibly find. But what is really cool is he seems to get the same enjoyment when I share my lowly AUs!

The set is absolutely amazing. I haven’t seen the entire set yet but I’ve seen atleast 10 of them. A road trip is in the near future. I was blown away and have enjoyed the ride while The American Girls set is being build.
    Congratulation to the owner !

I’ll second that about the same enjoyment for AU’s and even my VF’s.

Fabulous set! The man has great taste in coins. Not so much college sports ...

Set #2 is now listed! My hat is off to the owner. Takes a lot of time, money, passion and connections to build sets like this. I see Laura mentioned his 1st set in the latest market report.

Very high end. Mostly toned coins. I thought that the market prefers flashy near white ones.

Good Lord, what a way to list a "new" set. Fantastic collection.

Shortly after meeting him one feels his passion for this series. The premium quality maintained throughout his set is obvious. The long list of provenance is like icing on the cake. I admire and share your appreciation for their beauty, history, and rarity. Very Well done!!!

Great set . The 46 O and 59 S don't quite fit in thou. They are just too white compared to all the others.
